Protect Health, Enhance Learning: ATA Partners with Community Pure Water

Water is Life. It is also the Foundation of Education and Health.

The American Telugu Association (ATA) is thrilled to announce a transformative collaboration with Community Pure Water (CPW). Guided by our motto, “Passion For Our Culture, Compassion For Our People,” this partnership aims to tackle one of the most critical challenges facing rural India: the lack of safe drinking water.

The Challenge In many rural communities, unsafe drinking water is the root cause of poor health. It keeps children sick and out of school, and it places a heavy financial burden on families who must spend their limited resources on medical care.

The Solution: Community Pure Water Through this exciting collaboration, ATA is supporting CPW’s mission to eliminate this root cause. CPW establishes community-managed, sustainable water systems that ensure families and children have reliable access to clean water every single day.

Why This Matters Access to safe water is a ripple effect that transforms entire communities. By supporting this initiative, we are driving:

  • Improved Health: Drastically reducing waterborne illnesses.
  • Enhanced Learning: Better school attendance means better learning outcomes for the next generation.
  • Financial Relief: Reducing the medical costs associated with unsafe water.
  • Long-Term Resilience: Empowering rural families to thrive.

Our Impact So Far CPW is already making waves, operating 600+ water purification centers across 6 states, providing 1.5 million people with access to clean water daily.

Join the Movement: India Giving Day As part of the unified India Giving Day movement, we are honoring our shared heritage by making a meaningful impact that bridges continents.

Our Goal: To add 100 new school water centers.

We invite you to become a “Friend of Water.” Your donation will directly contribute to building these centers, ensuring that children can drink safely and focus on their education.
